Discover nature based solutions to rewild our urban public spaces. The event includes the release of the City of Greater Geelong’s Nature Strip Guidelines. Presentations include:

  • Designing Cities for Everyday Nature – Professor Sarah Bekessy, Professor of Sustainability and Urban Planning at RMIT and a lead Councillor of the Biodiversity Council

  • Nature Strips Guidelines – Pete Mercouriou, City of Greater Geelong Senior Sustainability Officer

  • Designing for Urban Biodiversity – Design of the Gardens for Wildlife Display Garden at the Nyaal Banyul Geelong Convention and Event Centre – Melinda Blunt, Senior Principal Landscape Architect, Tract
